Know Your Rights

There are three distinct categories of police interference with a citizen's liberties: Conversation, Detention, and Arrest. It is important to identify your situation and Know Your Rights. The Civil Liberties Center is helping teach people their rights and responsibilities when interacting with authorities.

Everyone benefits when citizens know their rights. To request an informative presentation on Knowing Your Rights please contact the Civil Liberties Defense Center. The CLDC also trains volunteers to teach Know Your Rights trainings. We are willing to come to your town for a small stipend and travel expenses.

Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
